09 Jan RECORD TOY DONATIONS IN THE CHRISTMAS CAMPAIGN
MÁLAGA – For the fifth consecutive year and linked to the social responsibility actions at Christmas, our company has carried out its traditional campaign to donate toys to groups in vulnerable situations, exceeding a total of more than 1000 units, which is the record number of donations to date.
The NGOs collaborating in this edition (Red Cross, Club Leones La Ilusión, INPAVI, Cáritas, Fundación Andrés Olivares, Fundación Ronal McDonald’s and the social action Te Invito a Cenar, CESAL) have been able to bring joy and magic to the children of Malaga, so that they can keep the illusion of Christmas alive.

Likewise, strengthening the close relationship with the Campanillas neighbourhood in Malaga, where we are located, this year Famadesa has recovered the tradition of accompanying one of the Three Wise Men in the parade of the district on this special day. King Melchior, in fact, surprised the more than 10,000 residents present with his gifts, which included tastings of bodega ham, hand-delivered by his squires, as well as balls, cuddly toys and the awaited sweets.
Along with this massive donation of gifts to children, the distribution of food to senior citizens’ centres, soup kitchens and other groups with which we maintain close ties throughout the year has also been intensified.
